Before you start
Two quick checks. Tick them as you go.
A playbook is your written setup: when you take it, where the stop goes, and where you take profit. You add the checks you want to answer on every trade. The checks are yours to write. The journal counts a missed required check as a break, and leaves unanswered checks alone.
It is a note and a checklist in your journal. You can archive one when you stop using it. If a step doesn't look like the picture, that's normal: open the "Not seeing it?" box under it.
Two quick checks. Tick them as you go.
Start a new one from the Playbooks page.
I can't find New playbook. Open Playbooks from the site menu. The button sits at the top of the list.
Each check is one question you answer on a trade.
The playbook says it has no rules yet. Add at least one rule under Rules to check on every trade. The list shows the rules you add.
The playbook is ready to attach to trades.
It isn't in the list. Refresh the Playbooks page. Check the save went through, then open it again.
Pick the playbook on the trade.
The playbook isn't in the Trade playbook list. Check it is active, not archived. Archived playbooks are kept out of that list.
Results by playbook appear in the weekly notebook.
Results show nothing yet. A playbook needs closed trades with it attached before results appear.
A few clear rules are easier to answer honestly.
Separate playbooks keep the results from blurring together.
Archive a playbook you have stopped using. It stays in your history.
